Dr. David L. Roper is a Commandment keeper and a keeper of the Lord’s Sabbath (Saturday worship services) and Holy Days.
He lives a life of dedication and service to God with integrity of character.
Chief Apostle Dr. David L. Roper faced many trials at the conclusion of his military service at the age of 21, while serving at The Church of Jesus Christ House of Prayer.
He & his beloved wife founded Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Ministries Inc. in 2004 in Houston. The church was renamed and relocated to a multi million-dollar facility in Missouri City in 2019. This campus included a two-story sanctuary, a fellowship hall, classrooms, offices, and a daycare. He now hosts powerful weekly church services in his debt-free facility in the Rosewood Community in Houston, located at 7517 West Knoll Houston, Tx. 77028. He is the recipient of The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, in addition to receiving a Proclamation Day (November 27th) in Houston, Texas from the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee and Houston Mayor, Sylvester Turner.
His Biblical insights and divine revelation of the Word of God, coupled with his boldness to speak the truth uncompromisingly has set him apart as a preacher. Demonstrations of verified miracles, healings, signs and wonders accompany his ministry. He serves as the presiding President of the Sabbath Keepers United Fellowship , with Bishop Singleton as his predecessor. Dr. Roper is a Chief amongst Apostles, a pastors' pastor, and a raiser up of disciples and sheep globally to the glory of God.

Our co-founder & First Lady
Mother Roper is a sweet and kind Proverbs 31 woman. Additionally, she exemplifies timeless servitude, meekness, and faithfulness in her Christian journey. From childhood to adulthood, she served at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. In 1988, she moved to Washington, D.C., engaging in church activities. Returning to Jasper in 1999, she had a transformative experience at Church of Jesus Christ House of Prayer, marrying Bishop David L. Roper in 2002. As the co-founder of Solid Rock, she plays a crucial role in the ministry as she co-labors with her husband of 24 years , as well as serving as the overseer of the GEMS Dance Ministry. She passionately imparts godly wisdom and teach the women of Solid Rock to be holy, God-fearing daughters, submissive wives, and great mothers. She is the loving mother of seven and grandmother of fourteen. Mother Roper is in the process of becoming an author, while enhancing her role as a spiritual and natural mother in the Kingdom of God.
